As a hairdresser I have watched this happen countless times. You soon learn that it is your job as the stylist to lead the client into giving you the gems of information you need. However this can sometimes be a long and tiresome experience, like drawing blood from a stone. The consultation is the most important part of service, if ever an error is made, quite often the problem will stem back to the consultation. So if all party members make the most of the consultation time, we can be sure to avoid a “blah” result.
